When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter, I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter. Wait a minute, wouldn’t you rather be nestled with the children all snug in their beds, with visions of sugar plums dancing in your head?
When there are creatures stirring, no need to get out of bed to check things out! Use our API to automatically kick off a post-breach investigation when an intrusion has been detected, initiating the immediate preservation of electronic evidence in an investigation. In the 4077th M*A*S*H unit, there was no one better than Corporal Maxwell Q. Klinger at putting on a show! And since “all we do is win win win, no matter what”, who better to help AccessData secure the best booth at the ILTACON legal technology conference this year than Mr. Jamie Farr himself?
Jamie Farr is truly a gift of talent and graciousness from old Hollywood, and we were humbled by his presence. But we did win first place, let’s not forget that. No holiday miracles needed.

Girl Power at
CybHER Security
ow do you ensure that the cybersecurity industry continues to see an influx of highly trained professionals for years to come? Girls. (They run the world.)
AccessData was proud to provide a hands-on cybersecurity lab for the GenCyber Girls in CybHER Security Camp this summer. AccessData’s own digital forensics expert, Justin Tolman, helped campers learn how easy it is to crack passwords.
One attendee said, “Hacking is pretty cool, but after I learned how to recover digital pictures and files, forensics is way better.” Another camper commented that “the camp taught me how deep the field of cybersecurity is. I learned I love solving challenges, and that is what digital forensics is.”
This free summer camp focuses on educating, motivating, and encouraging young women to explore cybersecurity. It is free and sponsored by the NSA.

An Excuse to Go To Vegas
Everyone needs an excuse to go on a Vegas Vacation, so AccessData welcomed our customers to a “Fabulous Las Vegas” User Summit this summer. Attendees could receive CPE credits, CLE hours, as well as ACE, ACED, and SCE certifications… and a Partridge in a Pear Tree, if they were feeling lucky.

INTERPOL “smart cities”
If you thought the Whos down in Whoville built a pretty impressive city, then check out “Smart Cities” where IoT sensors & devices in the air, street, and underground can connect every dimension of that city, digitally transforming it to handle our growing urban populations. But what about the Grinch (aka, criminals)?
The INTERPOL Innovation Centre hosted the first global police expert meeting, to discuss how law enforcement would conduct criminal investigations in a smart city. AccessData was the only digital forensics software provider invited to participate in the event, and our hearts may have grown three sizes that day.

You can’t create products and features in a vacuum. You must listen carefully to your customers and their honest feedback. And you better not pout if you don’t like what you hear. That’s why we made our list and checked it twice, and assembled our 5th annual Int’l Client Advisory Board in exotic Marrakesh, to ensure that our product roadmap is on par with what YOU all need from us as you perform digital forensics in your daily lives. We even added two new US-based client advisory boards, so ‘you better watch out’ for more news on dates and locations for 2020.

We’ve had a lot of fun with the first 11 Days of AccessData, but the true spirit of the Holiday Season is all about giving back. Giving back gives us all the feels.
